John Glenn Columbus International Airport

A special opportunity to welcome visitors to a 21st Century city.

The Gateway project at John Glenn Columbus International Airport established a new identity for the Airport and the City of Columbus. The project included the new International Gateway Corridor from I-670 to the existing airport terminal and Stelzer Road to the north and south of the International Gateway interchange. EDGE led a master planning effort that defined the streetscape vision for several major entrance corridors while establishing project budgets and priorities. The result was several phases of implementation from the dramatic "welcome signs" to the drop off zones at the terminal.
